Pallet production machines
Below is the full range of machines we use to build pallet production lines: from block cutting, through leg and deck nailing, assembly, to final processing and stacking. Most of them also operate independently - you can add a single machine to an existing production setup, instead of immediately investing in an entire line.
Who it is for
For plants that are just transitioning from manual nailing to machine-based production, and those that already have part of a line and want to add a missing link - for example, a leg machine or a block saw, to relieve manual cutting.
How it works
Leg machines nail pallet legs - we offer versions with an output of 12 and 18 legs per minute. Deck machines nail top decks, in versions with 25 and 35 cycles per minute. A block saw cuts squared timber into blocks, measuring the material and optimising the number of pieces from each section. An assembly machine connects finished legs with decks. A perimeter base pallet machine handles perimeter base constructions, not just block-based ones. The finishing line performs corner cutting, routs bottom boards for forklift entry, and marks finished pallets. A stacker and pallet turner handle the final stage - stacking and transferring finished items. A robot most often replaces a human in transferring components between machines. Stakma CNC nailing machines from the PalletMax and PalletStar series are a separate category: one machine nails the entire pallet according to a programme, instead of dividing the work among several devices.
We supply pallet production machines mainly under the IMH Machinery and Stakma brands.
Specifications
Approximate data from individual machine specifications: leg machines 12 or 18 legs/min, deck machines 25 or 35 cycles/min.
If you are looking for a ready-made configuration rather than individual machines, see the pallet production line. A separate set of machines, described on the pallet sorting and repair page, handles pallets already in circulation.
Frequently asked questions
Can the machines be bought separately, or only as a complete line?
Individually. Most IMH machines, for example, the block saw, leg machine, or stacker, operate independently or as part of a line - you can start with one and add more later.
Which machine brands does MDP Serwis offer?
Mainly IMH Machinery and Stakma. For sorting and repairing used pallets we supply Cekamon machines.
How do machines differ from a ready-made pallet production line?
A machine is a single link in the process. A line is a set of matched machines, described on the pallet production lines page, where output is set by the slowest link.
